HOODOO BADLANDS contains close to 140 of my full-color photographs from the badlands of northwestern New Mexico: the Bisti, the De-Na-Zin, Lybrook (including the Black Place), and Ah-shi-sle-pah.
More than half of the images in the book have never yet appeared on my photo website –– no room!
Each section of the book is devoted to a single badlands area, and opens with a short essay. The tone is informal and personal, focusing on what distinguishes one place from another, and especially on what my own experience of being and working in that particular place has been like.
